Stroke Recovery Resources
Moving Forward After a Stroke
Stroke recovery is a journey. It can involve physical rehabilitation, rebuilding confidence, adapting to change, and discovering new ways to stay active and independent.
Living Well Kasa brings together practical information, exercise ideas, healthy-living resources and encouragement for life after stroke.

Recovery Doesn’t End When Rehabilitation Ends
The months and years after a stroke can bring their own challenges. Strength, balance, coordination, mobility, speech, energy and confidence may continue to change.
The goal is not necessarily to return to exactly the way life was before the stroke. For many people, recovery is about making progress, maintaining independence and finding ways to live a meaningful and active life.
This hub is designed to help you find information and resources in one place.

A Personal Journey
Michael’s Stroke Recovery Story
In 2021, Michael experienced a serious stroke that changed many parts of his life. Recovery became a long journey of rehabilitation, exercise, patience and learning how to adapt.
Over time, progress came in many forms — walking more independently, improving the use of his hand, preparing meals and becoming more capable of taking care of himself.
His story is a reminder that recovery is not always measured in dramatic changes. Sometimes progress is a collection of small victories that add up over months and years.
